An inquest into the death of a 'loving' and 'caring' teenager who died in a fatal collision in Tameside opened this morning .
Police coroners officer Simon Toft said the medical cause of death determined by doctors at Salford Royal Hospital was traumatic brain injury."Stuart MacLeod was involved in a road traffic collision where he sustained fatal injuries and remained in critical care until he died," Mr Toft told the court.
Paying tribute to Stuart, from the Mossley area, his family said: “Stuart was a whirlwind from the moment he was born until he began his eternal journey.
