Fairham distillery founders Ellis McKeown and Liam Stemson had to be patient to realise the next step of their dream.
"We had our hearts set on Penwortham but we didn't expect it to happen so soon, nowhere ever comes up in Penwortham", Ellis told LancsLive.In pictures - first look inside Lancashire craft gin distillery's new bar View gallery "Everyone here [in Penwortham] has got their own niche so there is no one that overlaps or two of the same, and we focus on our own craft gin," Liam added.
The current distillery site is not open to the public, so the bar is the best way for Ellis and Liam to meet their customers and talk all things gin. They will offer advice, serving tips and take feedback while bottles of Fairham Gin will also be available to click and collect or purchase from bar.
