Prince Andrew must turn down King Charles's invitations to the Royal Family's Christmas celebrations after his close associate was exposed as an alleged Chinese spy, a source has said.

The prince's office has since said he cut off contact with the businessman as soon as concerns were raised with him by ministers.that Andrew was"under pressure to step away" from a pre-Christmas lunch with more than 50 members of the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace on Thursday. “Andrew should take it on himself and decline both invites. It would be the gentlemanly thing to do so he isn’t embarrassing the King," she said.
