Authorities are investigating the death of a 51-year-old man who fell from a roof at a Port Adelaide business.
Police said the 51-year-old man from nearby Pennington fell from a roof at the Webb Street premises.Despite the desperate efforts of ambulance crews the man died at the scene, police said.
A report is being prepared for the coroner and workplace safety authority SafeWork SA is investigating. "SafeWork SA can confirm that a worker has been fatally injured after falling from height at a worksite in Port Adelaide," it said in a brief statement.
