American John Isner has broken the all-time record for serving aces, setting the milestone early in his Wimbledon third-round match against Italian youngster Jannik Sinner.
Isner now holds the record for the most aces on the ATP Tour, and becomes just the fifth man to hit 1,000 of them at Wimbledon. Elsewhere, Novak Djokovic continued his run towards a fourth Wimbledon title by storming past fellow Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic 6-0, 6-3, 6-4. Kecmanovic, seeded 25, got the biggest cheer of the day when he finally won a point after 35 minutes through a long service game.
