This Morning bosses are reportedly considering Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard the new Holly and Phil, following Holly Willoughby's resignation from the ITV daytime show
Bosses at ITV are said to be considering moving Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard from their regular presenting position at Good Morning Britain, with the pair potentially fronting This Morning instead.
"While the bosses love Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson, they know they need someone more heavyweight. Kate is a journalist yet is also funny and warm."Other names that have been suggested for the This Morning gig include Emma and Matt Willis, Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty, and Rochelle Humes. However it seems that following Holly's exit, ITV is looking for some more permanent replacements, and it has since been reported that they have inundated with job applications.
