The resignation quickly led to calls for Mr Dutton to promote Senator Price, with One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson saying the Liberal’s decision to oppose the voice meant the right to “elevate this talented woman of conviction to lead Liberal indigenous policy”. “I am appreciating the position I am in now, appreciating being able to do what I need to do and be an effective voice going towards this referendum at the moment,” Senator Price responded.
