Landry has been ruled out with an ankle injury and placed on injured reserve for the rest of the regular season, but he’s been on the minds of his former teammates this week.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Jarvis Landry had such a profound impact on the Browns in his five seasons here, his teammates were upset when the Browns released him just after they traded for Amari Cooper.
The move came on the heels of the midseason departure of Odell Beckham Jr., and dealt another blow to the locker room. Ultimately, Landry signed with his hometown Saints, who will play the Browns Saturday at FirstEnergy Stadium.
