A post about 'fake friends' went viral for the wrong reasons 😳
Foxx has been in the news for months with regard to his stint in hospital following a mystery health emergency. On April 12, 2023, Foxx’s daughter Corinne Foxx issued a since-deleted statement on her . “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” the statement read. “Luckily, due to quick action and care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.
He shouted out his support system. “To them, to God, to a lot of great medical people, I’m able to leave you this video,” he shared. “I cannot tell you how great it feels to have your family kick in in such a way, and y’all know they kept it airtight. They didn’t let nothing out. They protected me, and that’s what I hope that everyone could have in moments like these.” He also confirmed that he’s not “paralyzed” or “blind” as rumors circulated.
On Friday August 4, 2023, Foxx shared on Instagram white text “They killed this dude named Jesus… what do you think they’ll do to you?” over a black background, using the hashtags #fakefriends #fakelove. Jennifer Aniston appeared to like Foxx’s Friday post in a screenshot shared by—an outlet that aims to provide “a better overall understanding and scope of Jewish world news,” per its website. The post has since been deleted.
