Victorian Opposition Leader John Pesutto has denied “any riffs” between the Victorian Liberal Party, says Victorian Political Reporter Simon Love. Mr Love said the Victorian Opposition Leader wants to move the Liberal Party “beyond the controversies” it has seen since he had gained the top parliamentary job. “He claims the party could win an extra 30 seats if the results in the recent Warrandyte by-election were replicated across the state,” Mr Love said. “That’s a very hard task – particularly when there is still some internal tensions between the Liberal Party. “John Pesutto denies that there are any riffs between the party – he says that things are healing within the Victorian Liberal Party and his job is to try and get them in a good position for the November 2026 election.”
