JPMorgan chair Simon Ranson to retire; Julian Peck stages comeback
JPMorgan’s head of investment banking for Australia and New Zealand, Simon Ranson, is poised to announce his retirement, to be replaced by APA Group’s corporate strategy and MIt is understood Peck has resigned from APA Group and is preparing for a return to investment banking.
He’s also helped a range of clients including Westpac Banking Corp on the sale of its insurance businesses and general insurance division. The move shows JPMorgan’s looking at ramping up its Australian investment banking operations after a few years in the doldrums.
