Justice Michael Lee will present his reasons as to whether Bruce Lehrmann was defamed by Network Ten and journalist Lisa Wilkinson on Monday next week.
Justice Lee is expected to present an abridged version of his reasoning which will be live-streamed on the Federal Court's YouTube channel at 10:15am.
Mr Auerbach told the court Mr Lehrmann had purchased a bag of cocaine over dinner while the pair dined together at a high-end Sydney restaurant in January of last year. Other claims made by Mr Auerbach were that Mr Lehrmann had requested prostitutes to come to the hotel where he was staying but he did not have the means to pay for them as his account was"dry after a bender".
“I told Mr Lehrmann I didn’t have the means to be able to pay for the activities that he liked to engage in and he said he would pay… claimed his bank account was dry after a bender and asked if there was a way we would be able to compensate him for that.
