'Just wow' - fans react to ex-Man United ace Cristiano Ronaldo's incredible Christmas present
Georgina Rodriguez, the partner of Cristiano Ronaldo, has surprised the former Manchester United ace by buying him a Rolls-Royce for Christmas.
Ronaldo is currently without a club following his infamous interview with Piers Morgan. Reports suggest that he is nearing a move to Saudi Arabia after turning down a €350m deal over the summer. His exit from United was announced just two days before Portugal’s World Cup opener with Ghana, in which he scored a penalty to become the first men’s player to score in five separate finals.His tournament ended in tears as Portugal succumbed to a shock quarter-final loss to Morocco but the superstar was in a happier mood on Sunday.
The 37-year-old was gifted a Rolls-Royce on Christmas Day, prompting a flood of reaction online. Georgina shared video highlights of the occasion, which also showed their children unwrapping gifts before the car’s big reveal to Ronaldo. Captioning the video ‘A magic Christmas night. Thanks Santa’, she received a host of comments from well-wishers.
