The targeting of Katherine Deves by the trans lobby and hard left over her fight for the rights of girls just confirms that to talk common sense on this issue is to invite “nasty abuse”, says Sky News host Chris Kenny.
Ms Deves, the Liberal candidate for Warringah, has come under fire recently over remarks she made regarding members of the LGBTQI community.
“Some of those comments have been a bit crude, and unwise, and she’s apologised for that, but a lot of the media pile on has been deceptive, exaggerating her comments, taking them out of context in an attempt to demonise her,” Mr Kenny said. “She’s been targeted by the trans lobby, and the hard left, and even woke elements of the Liberal Party and this just confirms one of her main arguments, that to talk common sense in this space, is to invite nasty abuse.”
