, the thrilling and addictive TV series that had us all in the throes of obsession will return on the ABC in three weeks.
And in excellent news for Australians, we won’t have to wait like we did with season one, because our national broadcaster will fast-track the new episodes so they’ll be available at the same time as in the US and the UK.The TV broadcast will follow from April 19 if you’re not keen on that newfangled streaming thing the kids keep going on about.
Starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer, Killing Eve enthralled audiences the world over with the story of Villanelle , a sociopathic assassin and Eve , the unlikely MI6 agent tasked to find her. The first series saw Eve chase Villanelle’s body trail all over Europe before a tense confrontation in Paris.The second season picks up moments after we last saw that heart-racing sequence — Villanelle is stumbling through the street with a knife wound while Eve has to leg it back to London to face her husband and her boss after going, well, a little off-book.
The series was such a hit, the American broadcast saw ratings increase as the first season went on — a near impossibility. Oh went on to win to a Golden Globe for her performance.

Australia suspends operation of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft | Sky News AustraliaAustralia has become the latest country to suspend Boeing 737 MAX aircraft flights in and out of the country after the deadly crash in Ethiopia which killed all 157 people on board. \n\nThe Civil Aviation Authority has announced the move after China, Indonesia and the Cayman Islands suspended flights from the same plane on Monday. \n\nThe announcement comes as Boeing said it had been developing a flight control software enhancement for several months in the aftermath of the Lion Air Flight 610 disaster last year, when the airliner crashed into the sea off Indonesia, killing all 189 on board.\n\nBoeing said the changes were designed to make 'an already safe aircraft even safer'.\n\nHowever two major crashes in the space of less than five months have raised questions about the safety of the 737 MAX.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
