Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese says one of the “stark contrasts between us and our opponents,” is a Labor party that “understands the need” to act on climate change.
Mr Albanese began Easter Saturday campaigning in the electorate of Leichhardt in northern Queensland.
“Every time you come to this part of the world; you hear about the Great Barrier Reef …. We need to make sure that we protect it, and to do that, we have to act on climate change,” he said. “This government has had 22 separate policies on energy and climate, and they haven’t landed a single one of them.”
