Labor leader Bill Shorten has flown to Western Australia ahead of a leadership debate with Prime Minister Scott Morrison in Perth.
It comes after Mr Shorten spent the day rallying to the Party faithful in Melbourne where he made a multi-billion dollar commitment for cheaper childcare and free dental care for seniors. Labor announced its $4 billion childcare package on Sunday, which is designed to reduce costs for families earning less than $174,000. Party leader Bill Shorten also unveiled plans to give free dental care to pensioners.
