The labour market still remains “in pretty good shape” despite employment falling for a second month, according to RBC Capital Markets Chief Economist Su-Lin Ong.
“As long as you have a job, your wages are rising, and you can service your mortgage payments, that really
is important in how the trajectory of the economy unfolds,” Ms Ong told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
