An aspiring teacher who helped to cover up the murder of Launceston man Jake Anderson-Brettner has been sentenced to five-and-a-half years' jail.
A Launceston aspiring teacher has been sentenced to five-and-a-half years' jail for trying to cover up the murder of Jake Anderson-Brettner.
In sentencing Clark in the Launceston Supreme Court on Thursday, Justice Robert Pearce said the fact she had pleaded guilty to both her charges and had agreed to be a witness on Mr Sadler's trial were mitigating factors. "Her ambition was to be a teacher but, because of the nature of her crimes, her chance of ever pursuing that career or another like it is now gone," he said.
