China’s President Xi Jinping and his counterpart from Belarus have met in Beijing.
Mr Xi reaffirmed China’s commitment to a 12-point plan which details a “political solution” to the war in Ukraine, according to a readout of the meeting.
“Relevant countries should stop politicizing and instrumentalizing the world economy and do things that help to cease fire and war and resolve the crisis peacefully,” Mr Xi said.
