Police have issued a warning to motorists after a Queensland woman, 50, is accused of consuming enough alcohol to put herself in a coma before she was involved in a two car crash.
Queensland Police attended the scene of the smash at an intersection in Nambour, about 15 minutes west of the Sunshine Coast, in the late afternoon of December 30.

Picture: Queensland Police The 50-year-old's licence was suspended immediately and she has since been charged with driving under the influence of liquor. Officer in Charge of Highway Patrol Sunshine Coast, Senior Sergeant Shane Panoho, said the reading was a potential lethal dose.
