Tas mania's hammering from wild weather is continuing, with thousands of people without electricity and a flood evacuation underway.
More than 38,000 Tasmanian households and business remain without power as the severe weather situation continues.There are over 200 outages around the state, withThe worst affected areas include communities around Deloraine, Westbury, Longford and Launceston in the north, Burnie and Ulverstone in the north-west, Strahan and Zeehan on the West Coast and St Helens and St Mary's on the east coast.
But thousands of people are still without power and another cold front with some bad weather is forecast to be on its way later this week., most up north. TasNetworks warn it might be sometime before power can be reconnected - and please please please, never go near fallen lines.
