Gladys Berejiklian is set to announce a single border region will be reinstated on Friday, extending 50km either side of the NSW and Victoria border, the ABC understands. Follow live.

"I suspect that the metric is going to have to be - how well is a state managing coronavirus overall? For example, can you accept under 10 cases per day, for example?
