MORNING BRIEFING: Health authorities are ramping up coronavirus testing across large parts of Sydney and NSW considered to be at risk of community outbreaks.

NSW Health says anyone with flu symptoms in areas of Sydney and NSW that are considered to be at risk of wider community outbreaks can be tested for coronavirus.

Now, anyone in outbreak centres including Sydney's inner west, Waverley, Woollahra, Randwick, Ryde, Penrith, Liverpool, Blacktown, Cumberland and Westmead can be tested. NSW Police said a 22-year-old man was allegedly speeding down Parramatta Road at Homebush West and failed to stop when signalled by officers.

He was treated by paramedics before being charged with dangerous driving and will appear in Burwood court in June.Four people have been charged for allegedly breaching physical-distancing laws across the Easter weekend.
