The Queen's coffin has been lowered into the Royal Vault

The monarch's funeral was attended by 2,000 people, and then she was moved through central London to Wellington Arch at Hyde Park Corner.Many flowers, thrown by well-wishers along the route, remained on its bonnet and roof.The sceptre, orb and imperial state crown were removed from her coffin and it was lowered into the Royal Vault.

She will be buried alongside her beloved Prince Philip at a private interment ceremony later tonight.
