Queensland's only sitting independent Sandy Bolton says she won't be relaxing until tonight's results roll in as she faces stiff competition from the LNP's Clare Stewart.In the last term she voted with the LNP 92 times, and with Labor just 22, she says.Ms Stewart, former mayor of Noosa, says the seat would be better served by a major party.
"Crisafulli had actually come in, in his suit and tie and white shirt, gave my partner a hug full of mud and sweat and said 'What can I take out for you?' and so that was the changing point for us." The LNP's Peter Lindsay said workers had moved Labor signs "which were on the right hand side of the gate, when they should have been on the left".
