The discovery of his true identity has led this Northern NSW man to create artwork combining dreaming stories with intergalactic constellations, and it’s caught the attention of the world’s most prestigious museum.

Right until the ripe age of 59, Lloyd Hornsby believed what he’d always been told.

Then when he started digging into family records, he discovered another bombshell — a Chinese relative dating back several generations.Mr Hornsby's painting Past Warriors will hang in the Louvre in October 2020. Mr Hornsby said when he was first contacted to contribute art to the tour he assumed it was a scam, but upon investigation found it to be real."I feel really proud, I feel that I am what I am," he said.Mr Hornsby says he achieves the celestial look of his artwork by using actual images of galaxies and star systems while he paints.
