With New South Wales, Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory in lockdown during August, new figures show nearly half the nation literally took their work home with them.
"Our latest data — for August 2021 as the Delta period impacts were deepening — are showing an 8.4 percentage point jump to 40.6 per cent," Mr Jarvis observed.

August lockdowns across Australia's south-east saw work-from-home rates jump above 40 per cent nationally. "This echoes what we saw last year, in August 2020, when lower-paid workers and their jobs were also particularly affected by lockdowns and other restrictions."
