Yorkshire Property Collingwood director Patrick Coy said the 19th century mansard roof in French “Second Empire” architectural style, standing 34m-high, made the property Melbourne’s tallest building during the late 1880s.

The two-bedroom apartment at 501A/2 Mansard Lane, Collingwood, sold for $975,000 in 2020, according to CoreLogic.The home did not sell and was rented out for $1300 per week before Yorkshire Property took over the listing.
