"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an air ambulance and an operations officer to the scene.A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police added: "We supporting the ambulance service as an individual has suffered a medical episode nearby."
A statement from Splashdown Waterparks read: "We are aware of an incident at Splashdown Quaywest waterpark that occurred approximately 12.15pm today.
