A 24-year-old man has died at a music festival of a suspected overdose.
Police said the man was taken to the medical tent early this morning, where medical staff were told he had taken multiple substances including GHB, MDMA and cocaine.Officers from the Murray River Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death and will prepare a report for the coroner.
“We would like to send our sincere condolences to his family and friends during this distressing and terribly sad time,” the statement said. “We would like to extend our gratitude to the NSW Police, our onsite medical staff and the wider event team for their support.”
