Police are searching for a man who allegedly tried to rob another man of his pokie winnings by offering him a ride home in Adelaide's north-eastern suburbs.
The alleged victim had won several thousand dollars while playing the pokies at a hotel on North Terrace in Adelaide CBD earlier this month.While driving in Windsor Gardens, the man allegedly hit the victim several times on the head with a tyre lever, demanding he hand over his winnings.Police have released images of the suspect and his vehicle, urging the public to contact Crime Stoppers with information.
