Emergency services treated a 27-year-old man on Jersey Road in Blackett about 8:45am on Thursday morning, but he died at the scene.Police had launched a public appeal for information after the incident and were looking for the driver of a ute they believe hit the man and fled the scene. Acting Inspector Shane Ranee said initial investigations led police to believe "the deceased felt threatened by a car following him".
