A man has been charged for allegedly assaulting two women and holding them captive after he met them out in Brisbane on Saturday night.

The 26-year-old Chermside man allegedly met two women at a Fortitude Valley business about 11.45pm on Saturday before the three of them went to a property on Latham Street, Chermside. There he allegedly assaulted both women multiple times and prevented them from leaving the property, police have said.A man has been charged for allegedly assaulting two women and holding them captive after he met them out in Brisbane.

"The women were eventually able to escape the address and sought medical assistance," a police spokesperson has said.
