A man will front a South Australian court today over the death of two children in a multi-vehicle crash involving an emu.
Events began when police were called to Riddoch Highway near the town of Nangwarry, close to the Victoria border, following a three-car pile-up about 2.40pm on Sunday.A man has been charged over a crash on a South Australian higway that left two children dead on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Chris and Paula's five-year-old son was killed almost instantly and his 15-year-old sister was left in a critical condition.Chris and Paula Eykelenburg, and their two other children, a 13-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son, were taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
