A man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly broke into a house and repeatedly stabbed a man he found with a woman who is pregnant with his child.
A 38-year-old man received numerous stab wounds to the chest, and was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remains in a serious condition. A 24-year-old woman, who police say is pregnant to the alleged attacker, was unharmed in the incident.The alleged attacker has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated burglary, intentionally causing serious injury, recklessly causing serious injury, assault and reckless conduct endangering life.Neighbour John Dujakovic told Nine News he heard "loud noise, screaming, yelling, all sorts of hullabaloo going on".
