Queensland police charged a man with the attempted murder of three police officers at Caboolture, north of Brisbane after the man allegedly rammed police with his ute.
The officers were responding to reports of a stabbing on Moon Street at Caboolture South on March 12 when the man allegedly drove a ute at high speed into their police van. The 28-year-old man was charged with three counts of attempted murder, two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and one count each of unlawful wounding and driving whilst disqualified.The 37-year-old officer who was driving the police van has received ongoing medical treatment for serious injuries he suffered in the crash.
