A man has been charged with murder following the shooting death of a 25-year-old woman in Queensland.Feebie McIntosh was taken to Caloundra Base Hospital in a critical condition yesterday with gunshot wounds to her head.
She was taken to hospital by a 58-year-old man who is known to her but she died shortly after arriving.Police arrested 30-year-old Bradley Ian Cotten after intercepting his car at Sippy Downs yesterday afternoon. "The man and woman were known to each other however preliminary investigations suggest this is not a domestic-related incident," police said yesterday."Both were visiting the Coolum Street address and friends of the homeowner, a woman, who has now spoken to investigators."Cotten appeared before court this morning where he didn't apply for bail and the matter was adjourned until July.The woman was taken to hospital with gun wounds to the head.
Tributes have flowed on social media for McIntosh who has been described as a loyal friend with a big heart and smile.
