Paul Sultana, 32, was arrested in the early hours of this morning following the discovery of Dayna Isaac's body inside her Penrith unit yesterday afternoon.
The pair were long-time friends but recently started dating, with concerns raised about her welfare when she hadn't picked up her two young children from daycare.Sultana's mum then allegedly found Isaac's body after she walked into the apartment when the 28-year-old didn't come to the door. Isaac's car was found burnt out in bushland at Castlereagh shortly after the mother-of-two's body was found.Officers tracked the 32-year-old to his home in Cranebrook and called for back up including the heavily armed tactical operations unit who negotiated with Sultana for an hour around 3am this morning before taking him into custody.The 32-year-old will face court tomorrow after being charged with murder.
