Man dies after being struck by bus in South Brisbane

An investigation is under way into the crash and the Lord Mayor has expressed his condolences to the man’s family on Saturday.

A man has died after being struck by a Brisbane City Council bus just after 11.30pm in South Brisbane on Friday night.

Police’s Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the death of man after he was struck by a bus on Friday night.Emergency services arrived at the scene a short time later, where the man was declared deceased. Queensland Police’s Forensic Crash Unit is now investigating the fatal bus and pedestrian traffic crash.The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have information or may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
