The man died in hospital a week after the crash in Oldham, police have confirmed
A 58-year-old man has died in hospital a week after crashing his car into a building, police have said.
He was driving a Mitsubishi Lancer along Elliott Street and crossed the carriageway of High Street before colliding with a building. "Despite the best attempts of emergency services, he sadly passed away at hospital," said Greater Manchester Police in a statement. GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit today made a public appeal for information, including doorbell and dashcam footage 'to help understand the full circumstances' of the crash.
