Police remain in attendance at the scene in Livingston, where a man has been arrested
A man is fighting for life in hospital after being found injured on a street in West Lothian last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Jackson Place, Livingston, at 11.40pm on Friday, July 21. A 46-year-old has been taken to hospital in Edinburgh for treatment, where medics describe his condition as "critical".Pictures from the scene today show a forensics tent erected in the nearby Peel Park, which is currently behind a cordon.It is understood that officers are currently in attendance at a property on the nearby Beech Place as part of their enquiries.
A statement from the force said: "Around 11.40pm on Friday, 21 July 2023, police were called after a 46-year-old man was found seriously injured outside an address in Jackson Place, Livingston.
