Queensland Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man, 48, was found stabbed to death inside a burning rural home in the Lockyer Valley west of Brisbane.
The victim’s partner alerted emergency crews who arrived at the house on Patrick Street in Laidley just before 10pm on Monday.
She told police she heard a disturbance at the back of the property, where she found the 48-year-old with critical injuries, the ABC reports.
