Police have fatally shot a man in Queensland after he led officers on a 12-hour manhunt and firing shots at his ex-girlfriend and her young children.
Officers were first called to a home in Tiaro, south of Maryborough in Queensland, late Saturday night to reports of a domestic dispute.Freear then allegedly left the home, firing a few shots at his ex’s home — where she and her children were hiding inside.Source:FacebookFreear was known to police, Superintendent Craig Hawkins confirmed.“Put some bullet holes through my car and stuck the gun in my face, he went to a couple of places and done the same thing,” Mr Watson told 7 News.

Picture: 10 News FirstThe special response team, which rushed up from Brisbane to find Freear, was the team that ended the rural property.“This was a rural area where it occurred, in typical dense Australian bushland … including eucalypts,” Superintendent Hawkins said.
