Police have launched an investigation into an incident that left a male victim, believed to be in his 20s, dead following a shooting in Elizabeth Hills while another car engulfed in flames was found nearby.
New South Wales police were alerted of a shooting in the suburb of Elizabeth Hills about 4pm on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services arrived to the site at Hertfordshire Street and found the male victim sitting in a car outside a home having sustained several gunshot wounds. Image: Getty.A police spokesperson told Sky News Australia the man is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be in his 20s.An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has been commenced.
Police are also probing a separate vehicle blaze in the neighbouring suburb of Green Valley around the same time where a car was found destroyed by fire on Bluff Street.
