The body of Sarah Henshaw was discovered six days after she went missing on June 20 this year.
A man has denied the murder of 31-year-old Sarah Henshaw, whose body was discovered in a lay-by near the M1.
The mum-of-two disappeared from her family home in Norman Street, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, on June 20 this year. Her body was found just after 12am on Monday, June 26 off the westbound carriageway of the A617, close to junction 29 of the motorway.He appeared at Derby Crown Court via video link from HMP Nottingham today, when he spoke only to confirm his identity and enter a not guilty plea to murdering Ms Henshaw between June 19 and 23.He is scheduled to face trial at the court on December 4, expected to last around a fortnight.
Shortly after her body was found, Ms Henshaw’s mother, Lorraine, described her first-born child as a ‘wonderful daughter and sister’.
