Man United are actively working to try and strengthen the squad ahead of the transfer window closing later this month.
With just over three weeks of the summer transfer window remaining, time is running out for Manchester United to get their business done.
With the clock ticking, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Scott McTominay are among the players who are being most heavily linked with exits. It has been well-documented throughout the summer that signing a holding midfielder is a key objective. The club has been and is continuing to be linked with a plethora of midfielders who fit that particular profile. The addition of two centre-backs was recommended by former United captain Roy Keane towards the end of last season. He was asked what the club's ambitions should be ahead of this summer's window and he said signing two central defenders should be a leading objective alongside the capture of two strikers and a midfielder.
