A man has successfully roasted a pork in his car in the extreme heat. 9News
Stu Pengelly posted video of the experiment to his Facebook page on Friday, showing just how hot the inside of a car can get in the scorching heat.
"I cooked 1.5kg pork roast inside an old Datsun Sunny for 10hrs on a 39 degree day," Mr Pengelly said.Mr Pengelly gave updates on the temperature as the day progressed, claiming the mercury reached 81C inside the car at 1pm. Mr Pengelly noted that the cooking experiment showed just how hot the inside of a car can get in the Australian summer and warned against leaving children or pets in the car unattended.Heatwave conditions scorched the state last week, sweeping through inland Australia across to eastern states and territories this week.
