A man has been charged with murder over the alleged axe attack killings of two people. 9News

A man has been charged with murder over the alleged axe attack killings of two people in Sydney's southwest.

It's understood the couple turned up to settle a dispute about 4pm. An axe and knife were used in the confrontation. The man had been led away from Huntley Place Place in Cartwright almost 24-hours earlier with forensic bags covering his hands. NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man, believed to be aged 40, however he died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.
