A Sydney teenager is among two people whose bodies are yet to be recovered after last week's deadly New Zealand volcano eruption.

NZ Police this morning named Winona Langford, 17, and Whakatane tour guide Hayden Marshall-Inman, 40, as the people still missing after last Monday's eruption on Whakaari/White Island. Winona's parents Anthony and Kristine Langford were killed in the eruption, while her 19-year-old brother Jesse remains in a critical condition in hospital.Kristine and Anthony Langford are confirmed dead in the disaster, while their son Jesse remains critically injured in hospital.

In a statement from family yesterday, the Langfords were remembered as "loving parents" to their teenagers and a "wonderful couple".A high-risk operation by an elite New Zealand Defence Force teamThe recovery team risked being caught up in another eruption while facing toxic gas and boiling mud to retrieve those killed.
